Tenant Fees

Part of our brand promise is to be transparent when communicating fees. These are outlined below.
Pre tenancy

During tenancy  
Amendment of tenancy to include a change of tenant:  
  • On existing Tenancy Agreements signed prior to 1st June 2019
 £300 gross
  • On Tenancy Agreements signed after 1st June 2019
 £50 gross
After tenancy  
Inventory check out Paid by Landlord
*Referencing tenants (identity, immigration and visa confirmation, financial credit checks, obtaining references from current or previous employers/landlords and other relevant information to assess affordability) as well as contract negotiation (amending and agreeing terms) and arranging the tenancy and agreement.

From the tenant perspective, the main permitted payments are:

  • Rent
  • Tenancy deposit – 5 weeks maximum
  • Holding deposit – one week rent maximum
  • Payment in the event of a default
  • Payment on variation, assignment or novation of a tenancy
  • Payment on termination of a tenancy
  • Payment in respect of council tax
  • Payment in respect of utilities etc
  • Payment in respect of a television licence
  • Payment in respect of communication services
