DirectorCanary Wharf Office
Nick was born in Johannesburg, South Africa but moved back to his parents’ hometown, Wokingham, in Berkshire when he was eight years old. The weather wasn’t as good but then, hey, at least he wasn’t at risk of being gunned down every morning.
A graduate of South Bank University, where he studied Marketing and Management, Nick got into agency when a friend recommended him to give it a go. The next day he handed his CV in to one of the Atkinson McLeod offices and, after thoroughly impressing the pocket Alan Sugars that are Atkinson and McLeod in the interview, an offer was on the table.
“To be successful in agency, you need to have a good dollop of common sense, determination and a strong character.”
He says the most challenging part of the job is having to process large numbers of transactions in a fast-moving business environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
In his role, Nick says attention to detail and a high level of customer service are paramount, as is the ability to maintain concentration at all times. He’s a serious guy.
