The company was founded in 2002 by Dan McLeod and Giles Atkinson who recognised the market was fast becoming less sales and more service led, so keen to be at the forefront of this industry shift, they set up an estate agency with a strong service ethos from day one, building long-term relationships with clients.
The business launched with its first office in the City with other offices following close behind in Kennington, Balham, Hackney and Canary Wharf servicing the growing needs of the market. Each branch covers local areas within around a mile radius of the office.

Extensive and on-going training keeps all our staff informed about the latest industry related and relevant legislative developments. And to provide our clients and applicants with extra peace of mind, Atkinson McLeod are also answerable to all the main bodies governing residential estate agency: the NAEA (National Association of Estate Agents); ARLA (the Association of Residential Lettings Agents); and the OEA (Ombudsman for Estate Agents).
